General Settings - Takeaway & Delivery
This page offers a step-by-step guide for the general settigs page in Lurch Restaurant Reservations. Make sure to take your time and read the instructions carefully to prevent mistakes. Use the button to navigate to the corresponding page in Lurch.
Takeaway Module
Set a message for the order page
Would you like to welcome your guests or offer information on the takeaway page? This can be done through a personal message:
Step 1: In your menu go to 'Delivery and Takeaway’ > ‘Settings' > ‘General’.
Step 2: Write a message in the field belonging to ‘Message for order page’.
Step 3: Don’t forget to save the changes at the bottom of the page.
Enable the takeaway module
Would you like to start using the takeaway module? Please contact Lurch and indicate that you would like to start using the takeaway module. We are available at info@lurch.nl or call us on 0183 664535. After subscribing, you will have to go into Lurch and enable the takeaway function:
Step 1: In your menu go to 'Delivery and Takeaway’ > ‘Settings' > ‘General’.
Step 2: Enable the setting under ‘Options’. New fields will appear: fill in the information to ensure that the takeaway module functions properly.
Step 3: Don’t forget to save the changes at the bottom of the page.
Adjust default takeaway time
Give guests an indication of what your default pickup time is. If you set this setting to 0:30, then guests can expect to pick up their order after 30 mins. Adjust these settings here:
Step 1: In your menu go to 'Delivery and Takeaway’ > ‘Settings' > ‘General’.
Step 2: Under Takeaway you can adjust the top value to indicate what your pickup time will be.
Step 3: Don’t forget to save the changes at the bottom of the page.
Set a min amount for takeaway
Would you like to set a minimum amount for which guests must order? Follow these steps:
Step 1: In your menu go to 'Delivery and Takeaway’ > ‘Settings' > ‘General’.
Step 2: At the bottom of the Takeaway field you can indicate for what amount guests must order if they want to be eligible for takeaway.
Step 3: Don’t forget to save the changes at the bottom of the page.
Delivery module
Enable delivery module
Would you like to start using the delivery module? Please contact Lurch and indicate that you would like to start using the delivery module. We are available at info@lurch.nl or call us on 0183 664535. After subscribing, you will have to go into Lurch and enable the delivery function:
Step 1: In your menu go to 'Delivery and Takeaway’ > ‘Settings' > ‘General’.
Step 2: Enable the setting under ‘Options’. New fields will appear: fill in the information to ensure that the delivery module functions properly.
Step 3: Don’t forget to save the changes at the bottom of the page.
Attention: When activation one or both of the modules in your properties, you will have to fill out all the fields that are now shown underneath. If you don’t do this, the takeaway/delivery module will not work and Lurch will not allow the module to function to its full potential. Make sure to go through all fields step-by-step.
Adjust default delivery time

Allowed postal codes for delivery
Of course it is important to indicate to which postal codes you can deliver. This is important so you don’t accidentally receive orders from far away locations:
Step 1: In your menu go to 'Delivery and Takeaway’ > ‘Settings' > ‘General’.
Step 2: In the Delivery field you can fill in the postal codes to which you are able to deliver, under ‘allowed postal codes for delivery’. If there are multiple postal codes, just add commas to form a list.
Step 3: Don’t forget to save the changes at the bottom of the page.
Delivery costs
Would you like to charge delivery costs? Follow these steps:
Step 1: In your menu go to 'Delivery and Takeaway’ > ‘Settings' > ‘General’.
Step 2: Next to ‘delivery costs’ you can fill in a delivery cost amount.
Step 3: Don’t forget to save the changes at the bottom of the page.
Free delivery from certain amount
Make delivery for free from a certain order amount? This can be set here:
Step 1: In your menu go to 'Delivery and Takeaway’ > ‘Settings' > ‘General’.
Step 2: Next to ‘Free delivery from’ you can fill in an amount from which the delivery costs are free of charge.
Step 3: Don’t forget to save the changes at the bottom of the page.
Stop using takeaway and delivery module
