Product Options - Takeaway & Delivery
Lurch also makes it easy to add product options to each delivery menu product. Product options are, for instance: Types of sauces or added spices. Read how to add, adjust or delete product options from Lurch. Feel free to click on the button to navigate to the Product Options tab in your system.
Categories
Add product option category
Before you can start adding product options, you must first add categories. Follow these steps:
Step 1: In your menu go to 'Delivery and Takeaway’ > ‘Settings' > ‘Product options’.
Step 2: Click on the plus icon at the top left side of the screen to add a new category.
Step 3: Give the category a title and description (optional) and save.
Step 4: The category has been added to the overview.
Adjust category
Would you like to adjust the name of your category? This is easily done as follows:
Step 1: In your menu go to 'Delivery and Takeaway’ > ‘Settings' > ‘Product options’.
Step 2: Click on the three dots followed by the pencil behind the concerning category.
Step 3: Make the necessary adjustments and click on save.
Delete category
Delete an outdated category? Follow these steps:
Step 1: In your menu go to 'Delivery and Takeaway’ > ‘Settings' > ‘Product options’.
Step 2: Click on the three dots followed by the rubbish bin behind the concerning category.
Step 3: A pop-up will open and ask you to double check if you are deleting the correct category. Check the information and delete. Attention: When you delete a category you will automatically delete all underlying products, of course.
Product Options
Add product option per category
After making categories, you are ready to add the product options. For example: if your category is Sauces, you can start adding these product options: Mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, etc.
Step 1: In your menu go to 'Delivery and Takeaway’ > ‘Settings' > ‘Product options’.
Step 2: Click on the three dots followed by ‘Add’ to create a new product option.
Step 3: Give your option a name and fill in the other fields.
Step 4: Save the option, it is now displayed under your category.
Enable the product options under the products
If you would like to use product options, you must first add them to your products. Follow these simple steps:
Step 1: In your menu go to 'Delivery and Takeaway’ > ‘Settings' > ‘Products’.
Step 2: Click on the three dots followed by the pencil behind the concerning product.
Step 3: At the bottom you will find an overview of all possible product option.
Step 4: Select which option you would like to make available for this product and save.
Step 5: Guests will now be able to select a product option when ordering. Make sure to repeat this step for all products.
Adjust product options
Would you like to make adjustments to your product options? This can easily be done as follows:
Step 1: In your menu go to 'Delivery and Takeaway’ > ‘Settings' > ‘Product options’.
Step 2: Click on the three dots followed by the pencil behind the concerning product.
Step 3: Make the necessary adjustments and save.
Sort product options
Would you like to adjust the display order of the product options or categories? Read along:
Step 1: In your menu go to 'Delivery and Takeaway’ > ‘Settings' > ‘Product options’.
Step 2: Find the drag icon next to the three dots.
Step 3: Press and drag the product option or category to where you would like it listed.
Remove product options
Permanently remove product options from your list? Follow these steps:
Step 1: In your menu go to 'Delivery and Takeaway’ > ‘Settings' > ‘Product options’.
Step 2: Click on the three dots followed by the rubbish bin behind the concerning product.
Step 3: A pop-up will open to check if you are deleting the correct product option. Click on Delete.
Step 4: Your product option is now permanently removed from the category.
Adjust price per product option
Create a new price for your product option? Do this as follows:
Step 1: In your menu go to 'Delivery and Takeaway’ > ‘Settings' > ‘Product options’.
Step 2: Click on the three dots followed by the pencil behind the concerning product.
Step 3: Fill in a new price with vat included and save. The new price is shown in the overview.
Adjust VAT
Each product option must be linked to a VAT category. Change the VAT here:
Step 1: In your menu go to 'Delivery and Takeaway’ > ‘Settings' > ‘Product options’.
Step 2: Click on the three dots followed by the pencil behind the concerning product.
Step 3: Select a new VAT class and save the changes, these can be seen in the overview under VAT.
