Reservation Overview

This shows a monthly overview of all reservations. Per day you can see in green the amount of reservations you have received and in white the amount of guests. On this page you will yet again find a monthly overview of the total guests and reservations. Click on the link to navigate to your Lurch Reservations Overview for today:

View daily reservations

It is possible to view your reservations per day in more detail. Do this as follows:

Step 1: In your menu go to 'Reservations’ > ‘Overview'.
Step 2: This shows you a monthly overview. Click on a day to only see the reservations for that date.

Add new internal reservation

Would you like to add a new internal reservation for today? This can also be done in the reservation overview. Follow these steps:

Step 1: In your menu go to 'Reservations’ > ‘Overview'.
Step 2: Click on a day on which you would like to add the new internal reservation.
Step 3: At the top right, next to the search bar, you can click on the button ‘Add’.
Step 4: Fill in all required information and save. The reservation is now visible in the overview.

Confirm reservations

If you have chosen to manually accept reservations before they are placed, it is important to know where and how to accept these reservations:

Step 1: In your menu go to 'Reservations’ > ‘Overview'.
Step 2: Go to the day of the reservation. Adjust the status of the reservation under ‘Edit’. 
Step 3: The guest will receive an email that the status of their reservation has been adjusted.

You can now filter on status within the reservation overview. This is mostly practical for restaurants that have selected to manually accept reservations. Find out how to filter on status below.

Change date for existing reservation

Would you like to change the date for an existing reservation in your system? Follow these steps:

Step 1: In your menu go to 'Reservations’ > ‘Overview'.
Step 2: Click on the day where the reservation is placed and find the correct reservation in the list.
Step 3: Now click on the three dots and then on the calendar icon. A pop-up will open in which you can adjust the date of the current reservation.
Attention: Do not use this function to adjust the time or table of the reservation!
Step 4: Save the changes. The reservation has been moved to the new date.

Reassign table to reservation

Would you like to change the assigned table for a reservations?

Step 1: In your menu go to 'Reservations’ > ‘Overview'.
Step 2: Click on a day and find the correct reservation in the list.
Step 3: Now click on the three dots behind the reservation and on the chair icon.
Step 4: Select a new table and save.

Adjust Reservation

Would you like to make changes to a reservation? Follow these steps:

Step 1: In your menu go to 'Reservations’ > ‘Overview'.
Step 2: Click on a day and find the correct reservation in the list.
Step 3: Now click on the three dots behind the reservation and on the pencil.
Step 4: Change the desired information and save.

Attention: Would you like to adjust the number of guests for a reservation? Make sure that their current assigned table has enough seats to accommodate the new guest amount. Was the reservation set for 2 people at a 2 person table and are you adjusting this number to 4? Lurch will let you make this adjustment, but it will show a warning just in case.

Switch internal reservation or group reservation to super reservation

It is now possible to change a regular internal reservation and group reservation into a super reservation. Follow these steps:

Step 1: In your menu go to 'Reservations’ > ‘Overview'.
Step 2: Click on the day in which you would like to adjust a reservation.
Step 3: Find the reservation and click on the three dots, followed by ‘Change to super reservation’.
Step 4: Read the warning, fill in an optional fictitious table name and click on save.
Step 5: The reservation is now indicated by a star in the overview and is no longer linked to a table.

To switch a super reservation back to a regular reservation, you will have to create a new reservation in the system. Find out how this is done here:

To internal reservations

Print reservation list

Would you like to have the reservation overview for the day printed out? Print the overview like this:

Step 1: In your menu go to 'Reservations’ > ‘Overview'.
Step 2: Click on the desired day.
Step 3: At the top right corner, click on the three dots and then 'Print reservations for this day'.

Download reservations as PDF

Would you like to have the reservation overview for the day in a PDF document? Download the overview like this:

Step 1: In your menu go to 'Reservations’ > ‘Overview'.
Step 2: Click on the desired day.
Step 3: At the top right corner, click on the three dots and then 'Download PDF for this day'.

Or would you like to download your reservation per shift, so you will have separate overviews for lunch and dinner? This can be done as follows:

Step 1: In your menu go to 'Reservations’ > ‘Overview'.
Step 2: Click on the desired day.
Step 3: At the top right corner, click on the three dots and select for what shift you would like to download the overview.

View table status in the overview

Would you like to see which tables are available? This can be found, daily, in the reservation overview. Navigate to Reservations > Overview in your menu and click on a desired day. A new column is added on the right called ‘Current table status’ in which you can see all available tables per spaces.

The colours will indicate if a table is available or if it’s occupied by an upcoming reservations. These are the colours used to indicate table statuses:

ATTENTION: Even if you are looking at the reservation overview 3 weeks from now, the column will always indicate the current table status!

Activate this column as follows:

Step 1: In your menu go to 'Reservations’ > ‘Settings' > ‘General’.
Step 2: In the field under ‘Options’, enable the bottom setting to enable the column in the reservation overview.
Step 3: Don’t forget to save the changes at the bottom of the page. 

 

Search within the reservation overview

Looking for something specific? You can now search in the reservation overview! This can be done by typing in a name in the search bar. Have you typed in a name without any results or are you on the wrong day? Try clicking on ‘Search’ next to the search bar. This function will take you to a separate page which shows all previous and future reservations under this name.

Or try to filter on status within the reservation overview. This means that you could filter on ‘pending’ reservations, to have a quick overview of any open reservations. This function is mostly useful for restaurants that accept reservations manually. This filter can be found next to the search bar. Would you like to remove the filter? Simply return to ‘filter status mode’.

Tip: This function will also let you view cancelled reservations. Setting the filter to ‘Cancelled’ on a certain day will show all deleted reservations. When clicking on a cancelled reservation you can also see when the reservation was last updated and by who. This way you’ll get more insight into internally cancelled reservations.
